The Czech Football Association has imposed a fine of 10 million crowns on Slavia Prague, ordered four home matches to be played behind closed doors, and declared the club as the official loser of the derby match against Sparta Prague, which was abandoned after fans stormed the pitch in the final minutes.
Additionally, Sparta Prague was fined 600,000 crowns for their supporters lighting flares and causing damage to the stadium. The financial penalty against Slavia represents the maximum allowed under league regulations, with the match result officially recorded as a 3-0 loss.
Slavia Prague released a statement saying: “We accept the disciplinary committee’s decision with respect, and we are fully aware of the seriousness of the entire situation and the responsibility associated with organizing the match.”
