Eintracht Frankfurt könnte zahlreiche Stars ziehen lassen

Eintracht Frankfurt could be on the verge of a dramatic squad overhaul this summer, with reports suggesting up to 30 player moves might take place.

According to the Bild newspaper, the club is preparing for a significant transformation. Eight players currently out on loan—Kaan Inanoglu, Simon Simoni, Jessic Ngankam, Krisztian Lisztes, Hrvoje Smolcic, Niels Nkounkou, Junior Dina Ebimbe, and Elye Wahi—are reportedly not part of the club’s future plans. In addition, forward Noel Futkeu, whom the Eagles recently brought back from Greuther Fürth via a buy-back clause, is expected to be put back on the market.

The shake-up does not stop there. Eintracht Frankfurt also intends to part ways with several key performers to generate fresh funds. The publication specifically names Nmandi Collins, Fares Chaibi, Ellyes Skhiri, Nathaniel Brown, Hugo Larsson, and Can Uzun as potential departures. The sales of Collins, Brown, Larsson, and Uzun, in particular, could yield substantial revenue.

Further exits are likely for Mahmoud Dahoud, Timothy Chandler, and loanee Arnaud Kalimuendo, all of whom see their contracts expire at the end of the current season.

With so many potential outgoings, the club will also need to be active on the incoming side. Bild summarizes the situation by stating, “The team essentially needs a completely new identity.”
