North American journalist and ClutchPoints insider Brett Siegel weighed in on the potential suspension for San Antonio Spurs center Victor Wembanyama following his ejection in Game 4 of the NBA second-round playoff series against the Minnesota Timberwolves (109-114, series tied 2-2).

“Victor Wembanyama, who was ejected tonight against the Timberwolves for a Flagrant 2 foul, now faces a possible one-game suspension for his elbow to Naz Reid. The league will review the play tomorrow and determine any additional penalties,” Siegel wrote on social media platform X.

The incident occurred early in the second quarter when Wembanyama committed a hard foul on Timberwolves big man Naz Reid, striking him in the face with an elbow. He was assessed a Flagrant 2 foul, resulting in an immediate ejection from the court.
